We spend the season working our way through neighborhoods from Prairie Trail to Deer Creek, hanging displays on everything from single-story ranches to two-story homes with steep, hard-to-reach peaks. Because we live and work here, our crews know the streets, the wind, the ice and exactly how early an Iowa December gets dark.
Every residential display starts with a walk of your property. We measure rooflines, look at peak heights, check outlet locations and talk through what you want the house to look like from the street. Lights are custom cut to your roofline so there is no sagging, no bunching and no extension cord draped across the front of the house. Warm white, cool white, classic multicolor or a mix — we build the look you want and keep the wiring hidden.
Retail centers along Delaware and SE Oralabor, office parks, banks, dealerships and restaurants all get the same approach: a plan, a firm install date before your busy season starts, and a crew that works around your hours. Commercial installs are scheduled early, so booking in late summer or early fall is the safest way to get the date you want.
Rooflines and peaks do the heaviest lifting in any display, but the details are what make an Ankeny home look finished: wrapped trunks and canopy lighting on front-yard maples and pears, lit wreaths above garage doors, garland with bows on columns and entryways, and pathway or landscape accents leading to the front door. We balance those pieces so the house reads well from the curb and from across the street.
Iowa weather is hard on Christmas lights. If a strand, bulb or timer goes out during the season, we come back and fix it — that is included, not an upsell. After the holidays we take everything down carefully, remove every clip, then label, box and store your display in our facility until next November. Nothing goes back into your garage.
